Teacher Organizations Meet in North Korea

A joint North and South educators conference was held in Gaesung, North Korea, on December 19th. The KTU (Korean Teachers Union) and the KFTA (Korean Federation of Teachers Associations) of South Korea participated with the Chosun Education Culture Professional Association. The three organizations agreed to the following:

• Teachers will begin designing lessons on the June S-N Joint Declaration.
• A larger conference is to be held in the near future.
• A joint conference will be held annually to share the organizations education activities.
